Would you like to renew your WinCustomize subscription now?

I subscribed this morning (11/2/02), have updated my profile at WC, have cross referenced Stardock and WC accounts and can not log in on WC subscription.

What am I doing wrong, or is there a time lag between the databases? Should I reinstall?

The weird thing is that I can post here but can't download through the WC Browser.

I'm having the same problem. I just paid the $19.95, but my subscription level is still 3.

Just doing a quick look at your account details I see that you are only at a UserLevel of 3 which suggests to me that you did not cross reference properly.

Well, I followed the directions and clicked the follow-up e-mails, etc. It still sticks me at level 3.

However I have the registered version of the browser (using it to post this) so I know I'm not crazy.

I've got to tell you, as a consumer, I find this unacceptable. I sent an e-mail to the address Fuzzy Logic suggested, so I hope they get back to me asap.

I too am at level 3.

Sent e-mail to Fuzzy Logic.

We (some of us) eagerly await.

I just reinstalled the program, same situation.

HEY! It's Saturday!! Do you guys work all week every week??? I didn't think so! Saturday is not within regular business hours. The stardockers work very hard during the week (and some weekends, too) and deserve some time to themselves. I wouldn't begrudge them not responding before Monday. Sheesh

You know I wrote basicly the same thing last year over the Christmas holidays.

I work every 3rd weekend and 2 holidays a year - but that's the kind of job I have.

Right now I think a server might be down because I sent a request to Stardock for my serial #s an hour and a half ago and have not gotten the e-mail yet - usually recieve that info in less than 5 minutes.

Have (wrote too soon, just arrived) a nice weekend Peff.

Jeff

I really wonder how so many many others manage to subscribe right...

Can you expand on that thought?

Or explain "manage to subscribe right.." from manage to subscribe wrong?

I think what c242 was trying to say was that it is amazing that thousands upon thousands (I don't know the exact numbers) of users have managed to subscribe without encountering any problems whatsoever (I made a similar statement in another thread). With the recent installation of a new server, I can see how this might be happenning now. Just be patient and I'm sure it will be sorted out asap.

BTW, Welcome (all of you) to the WinCustomize community!! Someday you'll look back on this and say, "I should have bought some crack instead...."

Don't forget, the system is down from time to time for maintainence (Whip me Jafo!) and the 'usual' time slot is end of week/early weekend.
